Register for Access to Gate and Amenities

Vehicles entering Bear Paw will enter as they do today from 6am to 10pm.  From 10pm to 6am property owners will use their new access method to enter the front gate.  Simple hold your cellphone or key fob up to the reader and the gate will open.

A "key fob" is a physical device about the size of a dog tag.  

Up to two property owners listed on the property deed may be issued either access by cellphone or by key fob.  We will follow the policy for issuing vehicle stickers, you will only be issued two access methods no matter how many lots you own.  You can review the vehicle sticker policy on the "Important Forms" page of this website.

It is the responsibility of the owner to ensure renters can enter Bear Paw after hours.  There are multiple options available and property owners who rent their property should use the contact form on this website to request further information about their options.

Emergency vehicles such as Fire, Police, and Ambulances all have access to Bear Paw at any time.  Their vehicles are equiped to enter Bear Paw and the 911 dispatch will also know the process to enter Bear Paw.

During the hours when the pool is open a cellphone or key fob will open the gate to the pool.

Both Carolina Water and Tri-state power have worked with Bear Paw to find entrance procedures that are acceptable to them.  We are working with Peachtree Fiber and Frontier to establish similar procedures.  If additional utility providers require after hours access we will work with them to establish access.

The system has the ability for you to contact someone who can either raise the gate or provide a "one use" code to enter Bear Paw.  This should be a rare occurrence since we have been monitoring requests to enter Bear Paw between 10pm and 6am and access during these hours is very rare.
