Get Involved!

Do you have a passion to make things better?  If you enjoy learning new things and organizing to make things more efficient, this may be the role for you.  Becoming a member of a Bear Paw Board is an important role where you can have real impact.  Contact your homeowners association (HOA or POA) to see how you can get involved and contribute to the community.

If having a good time is your favorite thing to do in Bear Paw, get involved with the Community Action Committee!  The CAC is focused on bringing the community together through fun and exciting events. They've already put on an amazing party and wonderful Craft Fair.  It's not too late to have fun!  Contact Lois Huntington or Martha Cook to help bring us together with great events!

Bear Paw is a beautiful place and it takes a lot of work to keep it that way!  Join the Beautification Committee and help keep the gardens, grounds, and buildings looking gorgeous!  BPSD does a lot of work on the buildings and grouds, but the more people who chip-in, the better it gets!  Contact Alison Songer, Mendi Eymard, Rhona Stubblefield, or April Galloway to join in on the fun!

These ladies have their act together!  Fun social activities and they give back to the local Hiwassee Dam community as well.  Whether you enjoy luncheons or working on events, this could be the group for you!  Contact Mary Francis O'Malley to see how you can get involved.

If music is your thing, check out Bear Paw Live!  A great group of volunteers find performers every year to keep us singing and dancing.  Just come to an event and enjoy, or speak to someone taking tickets and see how you can make the music last forever!

What a variety!  Whether you enjoy yoga, playing cards, pickleball, or many other activities, the Clubhouse has something to offer.  See the "Clubhouse Activities" page for more information.  What a great way to get to know your neighbors!
