Requests for absentee ballots that are RECEIVED by May 7, 2026 will be processed.  

Beginning today (March 31, 2026) property owners may request an absentee ballot.  Requests for absentee ballots that are RECEIVED by May 7, 2026 will be processed.  The same form is used to request a proxy along with your ballot.

The property owner is responsible for either voting their ballot or forwarding the ballot with the associated proxy to the person receiving your proxy.

The completed ballot (with proxy where applicable) must be RECEIVED by the Bear Paw Property Owners Election Official via USPS mail or be dropped-off at the Bear Paw offices by May 13, 2026.

A member in good standing is the owner of a lot in Bear Paw which is part of the Bear Paw Property Owners Association who has paid in full all taxes due for their property/properties. 

To receive a proxy you must complete the Absentee Ballot Request form.  There is a place on the form to indicate that you would like to receive a proxy along with your ballot.  If you choose to receive a proxy it will be your responsibility to forward the ballot you receive along with the proxy to the person whom you are granting a proxy.

In accordance with the articles of incorporation, a member is limited to cat the vote of no more than 10 proxies.  If you plan to give your proxy to another member be sure that member will accept your proxy and can cast your vote within the 10 proxy vote limit.
